Using Amazon Smile

With AmazonSmile you can donate to the Levy Senior Center Foundation without spending extra! If you shop on Amazon, it's easy to support the LSCF with each purchase by switching to AmazonSmile. A few minutes of setup is all it takes.

 

  • The first time you go to AmazonSmile, you will select the organization that you want to support. This AmazonSmile link sends you directly to our fundraising page. Simply click on the 'start shopping' yellow box in the upper left, then use Amazon like you always have. A percentage of your purchases will go to the LSCF.

Be sure your URL (web address in your search bar) says ‘smile.amazon.com’ every time. We only get credit if you order from the Smile side.

  • If you use bookmarks, be sure to update to the AmazonSmile address.
     

  • Or, once you've followed the steps above, typing 'smile' into your search bar will automatically take you to AmazonSmile.)
     

This easy switch is a simple way to give to the LSCF, and it doesn’t cost you anything extra!

What is AmazonSmile?

AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact products and prices as amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to your favorite charitable organization.

 

Can I use my existing Amazon account on AmazonSmile?

Yes, you use the same account on Amazon and AmazonSmile. Your shopping cart, Wish List, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings are also the same.

 

How much of my purchase does Amazon donate?

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases.

 

What information does the LSCF receive about the donation?

The LSCF will not receive any information from Amazon about individual donors or their donations. Donations from the site are not tax deductible.
