Chicago-based Funkadesi world music group blends Indian music—bhangra, Bollywood, Indian folk—with reggae, funk, and Afro-Caribbean grooves. The 10-person reggae collective even caught the attention of President Obama who said, “I can’t say enough how energizing this band is. There’s a lot of funk in the desi!,” the Chicago Tribune reported.

Virtuosic master of musical mirth Corky Siegel and Howard Levy are returning with a virtual performance. The two packed the Center when they played in 2018. The audience marveled at their lightning quick intuitive reflexes resulting from many years of friendship. They’ve toured together nationally, performing at renowned jazz venues and music festivals as a dynamic duo. You won’t want to miss these amazing performers with a slew of awards between them, including a Grammy and Chicago Blues Hall of Fame distinction.
