LSCF Photo Contest Winners 2020

We are thrilled to announce the winners of the first annual LSCF Photo Contest!  Michael Mauney, former People/Life Magazine photographer and contest judge, had a tough job to do, with more than 220 photos to choose from.

Best in show and first prize winners from each category were the recipients of Evanston restaurant  gift certificates compliments of Symphony of Evanston. We also plan to display the photos later this year at the Levy Senior Center.

“It was incredibly difficult picking out the best photos from so many impressive submissions.  I was very impressed with the quality, the diverse and varied subjects, and the effort shown in captioning and describing your work. And, above all, your photographs many times told the story of the unusual and unique year that was 2020.”

So, after much consideration, here are the top prize winners and runners up in five categories plus a number of honorable mentions.
