The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide helps low- to moderate-income and 55+ years old taxpayers prepare simple tax returns, assist in filing tax forms, certain schedules, and the 1040 form at the Levy Senior Center. For more complex returns, please seek a paid tax assistant.
Beginning January 26, appointments are available in 90-minute increments on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Time slots are from 12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. on February 6 and 9.
Taxes are prepared for seniors over the age of 55 and with less than $40,000 in annual income. Have relevant tax papers ready before calling (847) 448-8250 to schedule an appointment.
